Egypt is a location that seems to be increasing in popularity more and more. With its hot climate and beautiful beachside resorts by the Red and Mediterranean Sea, it offers an ideal holiday for water sports and culture alike.

Egypt has recently become a popular destination for holidaymakers, with its hot weather, luxury hotels, water sports and entertainment; it is no wonder tourists flock here. Resorts such as Sharm El-Sheikh cater well for tourists with lively activities provided day and night. It has an air of mystery surrounding it and will go beyond any typical holiday if you choose to.

As well as the typical beach holiday tourist trade, there is also a huge holiday market for the cultural and historical side to Egypt. Egypt hosts the great pyramids of the Seven Wonders of the World. It also plays a key location within the some stories of the bible, as Moses parted the Red Sea as he led his people out of Egypt. It is a country that beholds an unexplained air of mystery.

Much of the history of Egypt and the Egyptians is taught to us throughout school. We learn the story of Tutankhamen, pharaohs and the related ways all those year ago. Perhaps this contributes to our opinion of Egypt as an ancient and mysterious place.

Egypt does have its slight drawbacks however. With the recent media coverage due to the shark attacks of December 2010, the tourist trade of the beach resort holidays fell. The public are unfortunately all too influenced by the press and media, and when it comes to our safety, we will choose alternative options if we feel our safety is at risk.

So not only can Egypt provide a destination for guaranteed hot weather and water sports activities, but it offers activity on a much deeper level. With plenty of all-inclusive holiday deals out there, it is easy to see why Egypt is becoming increasingly popular.
