Initially, I must disclose, the spot that I was residing can't really be specified as an apartment. I'm among those kinds of individuals who needs to go so far off the beaten path that I can't find it again. Hotels and Apartments? Not truly my bag. So obviously, when an individual like me goes to travel to Rio de Janeiro I'm prone to face some different complications. Especially if you go to look at the kind of rentals I considered. If you're taking unconventional actions, you are gonna have some unconventional difficulties, as I discovered.

I had actually found some flats located in one of the favelas of Rio de Janeiro. This specific favela was situated in Copacabana, however it was also very close to Ipanema. While many people would likely seek out hotels or apartments, I actually came across this unique section of real estate to be embedded in the culture. Funk parties, loud music, samba, low budget fireworks at all times of the day and night. If this is actually the holiday you seek, then a favela is for you. Otherwise, you might consider a different approach for your vacation.

When I shifted into my new accommodations, it wasn't long before I found I had an unexpected guest. Or perhaps you would refer to him as an invader. Though it could be fought as to who was the actual invader. I believe to this rodent, I'd been in fact encroaching on his territory. Likely he was there long before I showed up. Also, this isn't really something that occurred to me while I was in search of flats and rentals in the local slums of Rio de Janeiro. But what else could you do?

A person may perhaps ask, what's it like living with a rat? Well, most people have had that flatmate who is "that guy." You recognize the kind. The ones who make noise when you're trying to sleep. They devour your food and don't clean up their messes. Though I have to disclose, when compared to other roommates in other apartments I've stayed in, this rodent was very well mannered. But on the other hand, the bar may be set low, very low.

Possibly next time I will agree to the strategy of staying in hotels. Though for the money, there's no way I would have gotten anywhere as close to Copacabana or Ipanema beach had I not relocated into some accommodations that may agree to my furry four legged buddy with a tail.
